As an Email/SMS Marketing Specialist at No Standing, you will be responsible for executing email/SMS marketing campaigns that engage our audience and drive business success. You’ll play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimising email/SMS campaigns, measuring their performance, and contributing to our overall marketing/SMS strategy.
Your responsibilities will include:
Email/SMS Campaign Management:
- Develop, implement, and manage email/SMS marketing campaigns in line with client goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with the content team to create engaging email content, including copywriting and visuals, to drive user engagement and conversions.
- Segment email/SMS lists to deliver personalised and relevant content to different audience segments.
Automation and Segmentation:
- Utilise email marketing automation tools to set up and maintain triggered email/SMS campaigns.
- Segment email/SMS lists effectively for targeted messaging and tailored customer experiences.
- Develop and maintain customer journey workflows and automation sequences.
Performance Analysis and Reporting
- Monitor and analyse the performance of email campaigns, tracking key metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and revenue.
- Provide regular reports and insights on campaign performance, identifying areas for improvement and optimisation.
- Plan and execute A/B tests to refine email content, subject lines, and sending times for improved campaign results.
- Continuously test and iterate to enhance email/SMS campaign performance and engagement.
List Growth and Compliance:
- Implement list-building strategies to grow the subscriber base while ensuring compliance with email/SMS marketing regulations and data protection laws.
- Manage and maintain email/SMS contact lists, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Email Design and Templates:
- Design and optimise email templates for mobile responsiveness and consistent branding.
- Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing and effective email content.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to identify and target specific customer segments with personalised email campaigns.
- Utilise customer data and behaviour insights to improve email targeting and relevance.
- Plan and maintain an email marketing content calendar, ensuring timely and relevant messaging to subscribers.
- Coordinate email campaigns with other marketing activities and promotions.
Compliance and Best Practices:
- Stay up-to-date with email marketing best practices and legal requirements, ensuring full compliance with relevant regulations.
- Build and maintain a positive sender reputation to enhance email deliverability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1-2 years experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated success in planning and executing email/SMS marketing campaigns.
